Palate

• Full-bodied wine: rich and powerful.

• Flavours echo the nose: black & red berries, ripe cherries, with oak-drawn vanilla and spice (pepper, perhaps dark chocolate in some tastings) coming through.

• Finish: long aftertaste, with lingering oak, spices, fruit.

Pairs well with richer red meats (beef fillet, game), mature or aged cheeses.
